About the 2022 National Ryan White Conference

Due to the constantly evolving COVID-19 pandemic, HRSA’s HIV/AIDS Bureau’s 2022 National Ryan White Conference on HIV Care & Treatment will transition from the previously planned hybrid model format to a virtual format. The conference will take place from August 23-26, 2022. The 2022 NRWC is open to all RWHAP recipients, stakeholders, federal partners, and people with HIV. Registration for the 2022 NRWC will open in late March 2022. The virtual platform will allow registered participants more flexibility to engage in this important event.

The virtual 2022 National Ryan White Conference on HIV Care & Treatment will utilize the Chime platform, and it will allow for unlimited conference registration. All RWHAP recipients, providers, subrecipients, stakeholders, and people with HIV will have an opportunity to participate in the conference.

The conference theme is The Time Is Now: Harnessing the Power of Innovation, Health Equity, and Community to End the HIV Epidemic. This theme reflects the urgency for ending the HIV epidemic in the U.S., while also highlighting the tools and resources we need to accomplish this goal. HRSA’s Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program understands we must continue to promote health equity to reduce HIV-related health disparities; be innovative in how we deliver HIV care and treatment, support people with HIV; and ensure people with HIV and their communities are involved in the planning, development, and implementation of HIV care and treatment strategies.

Health and Safety of the 2022 National Ryan White Conference on HIV Care & Treatment Participants

The health, well-being, and safety of all of our attendees is the top priority for HRSA’s HIV/AIDS Bureau leadership. Many of our Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program recipients and providers have continued to work on the front lines of the COVID-19 response around the country and around the world over these past two years. While we understand that current COVID-19 numbers are trending downward, we also know that the COVID-19 pandemic has been unpredictable over the last several months. With that in mind, HRSA’s HIV/AIDS Bureau has a commitment to our Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program recipients, providers, Planning Council members, partner organizations, and the more than half a million clients we serve to take every precaution to reduce any potential COVID-19 risk.

 The call for conference abstracts closed in December 2021. Registration for the conference will open in late March 2022.
